Hi Everyone!

The first bit of news is for those of you in the New York City area. 
Chip and Carrie will be the main attraction at a benefit show for WFDU
radio at the Turning Point in Piermont, New York.  The show is on
Wednesday, October 20, beginning at 7:30.  Also on the bill are Rebecca
Martin and Terence Martin.  Space is limited.  For reservations and more
information, call the Turning Point at (845) 359-1089 or click here.  And
if you can’t make it to this show, look for Chip and Carrie to
perform around New York City in the coming months.  Our web site will
have the information as it becomes available.

Why, you may ask, aren’t Chip and Carrie touring the world as
usual?  The answer is that they are in the middle of recording their next
album.  The recording sessions, some including guitarist Bill Frisell,
have gone great so far.  The new CD is due for release in early 2005.  As
more detailed information about the tracks becomes available, we’ll
post it on the site.  This time we might also have a sneak preview
download.

[IMAGE]If 2005 is too far off and you want to hear something new from
Chip and Carrie, luckily they have recently released a mini-album
featuring a great new take on “Angel of the Morning” and six
live tracks. (pictured right)

It’s for sale right now, at a special low price, on the web site.

Many other noteworthy things have happened since our last newsletter,
including Chip’s work on the upcoming Beautiful South album (due
