[FM] Boston Folk Festival Sept. 17-19

The Boston Folk Festival runs from Sept. 17-19 at UMass-Boston. There's 
a great lineup, including Dar Williams, Natalie MacMaster, Tom Paxton, 
Sam Bush, David Bromberg, Geoff Muldaur, Cephas & Wiggins and Lucy 
Kaplansky.

The fine people who run the festival also can use "a smattering" of 
additional volunteers (note: no camping for anyone; this is university 
campus in an urban setting). Here's something from a recent e-mail the 
festival sent:

*DID YOU SUBMIT YOUR FESTIVAL APPLICATION?* If you didnt yet get around 
to applying to be a volunteer at this years Boston Folk Festival 
(September 17-19), make sure to get your application in immediately so 
you can get an assignment that suits your schedule. If you volunteer 
youll get free admission to the festival, a free volunteer tee-shirt, 
youll be working with other folk music fans while you enjoy great 
music. Work 6 hours for free two-day admission, or work 4 hours for free 
same-day admission. There is a smattering of slots open in all time 
periods. Let me know if you can work on setup during the day on Friday 
(8A-8P) or early Saturday morning (7A-10A). volunteers at umb.edu
