One for, one against, so far.

You cannot reasonably expect to remove politics from folk music.  If ever there were a home for protest songs, folk music is certainly it.  That said:  I think Waterbug could've been a bit more brief, exercised a bit of restraint, and perhaps that would've been better.  This list should be centrally about folk music.  If a smattering of politics creeps in around the periphery, I for one can tolerate it.
