[dar-list] Vienna Teng

We've got a real thread going here!  I have Vienna Teng's first 3 CD's
and will acquire the fourth one, which I'm sure will be just as good
as the first three.

Like Diane Birch, I first became aware of Vienna Teng hearing her
interviewed on NPR's Weekend Edition Sunday (learned of Judith Owen
that way, too).  That piano accompanyment is addicting!

Diane Birch is appearing at the Housing Works Bookstore Cafi this Friday,
along with a favorite artist of mine, Vienna Teng.  I don't know Diane's
music (yet), but Vienna's is *definitely* worth a listen to a Dar fan.
She's not folk-oriented (more jazz- and classical-influenced, if anything;
piano's her instrument), but her songs are incredibly intelligent, both
lyrically and musically.
