Funny, when I write that subject line I have a mental image of a Klingon
Warbird appearing...
Anyway, Walt from Pittsburgh delurking here, thanks to Howie. I've been around
since 1995, I think, when there were about 40 of us on this list. I worked for
a "Dot-Com" back then and it was my first opportunity for free high-speed
internet on a good PC. Great ride while it lasted. I've been watching Dar as
she grew from the days of the cassette tape through the first 3 CDs. I've seen
her twice in Pittsburgh and once at a nearby College (my first meeting!), and
merched for her too. I missed one show due to an ice storm which closed all
the roads in my county. Anyhoo, I've never been able to travel to shows like
some of us (Sharon!), and its probably been 5 or 6 years now, since before the
wedding for sure.
In addition to thinking she is one of the best lyricists ever, Dar has such
amazing powers of recall. I met her at that first show, and each time since
then she has called me by name! I have a hard time remembering what I had for
dinner yesterday!
I'm also in the runniung for the oldest remaining lister. Anybody want to
challenge me?
