Happy Birthday Sharon!
 
I actually saw Sharon last night at a Richard Shindell show at the Sanctuary
in Chatham, NJ. It was nice to have a chance to chat with her without her
having to sell merchandise at the same time.
 
The show was very good as well- Richard sounded great and had some very
funny comments along the way. He was informed that there was a Lucy
Kaplansky show nearby going on at the same time and he said that he and Lucy
had decided to take names at each show to see who was skipping which show.
 
He did a nice mix of old songs and newer ones- including some not released
yet. 
 
I also got in the mail yesterday a great live cd of Richard from a show in
Vermont about a year ago. it's Vol. 1 in the Archives Series and is
available at shows and on his website.
 
We'll actually be seeing Lucy in the near future- one show with Cheryl
wheeler and Tom Paxton and another with just Lucy.
 
Esther and I hope to see Sharon again next Friday at a Susan Werner show in
Morristown at a local church.
