There is an IMAGINE PEACE full page ad in todays NY times.
WWW.imaginepeace.com  signed Love Yoko Ono
so ofcourse i had to see what YOKO was doing today. Today, the Sunday
after NYs day. Yoko is celebrating 2008. Check out the website and in
the spirit of Dar Williams leave Yoko a note. She is alledgely reading
them and myspace and you tube. Can you imagine Yoko loving You Tube as
an art installation.......Brilliant

NEW YEAR'S AFFIRMATION

Dear Friends,
www.IMAGINEPEACE.com is an internet billboard.
It's like the most modest billboard on the busiest street of the city,
surrounded with colourful signs selling commercial goods, none of
which belong to you. (You know they don't belong to you, since they
are all telling you to BUY THEIR PRODUCT.)

The sign IMAGINE PEACE belongs to you.
And it will always be there, when you click in.
You can use the billboard just as a reminder.
Or you can download the message
And, with it, create buttons, postcards, posters and T shirts of your
own to spread peace.
(Some people may already know this - I am just saying it for the
benefit of the new comers).

Well, that's exactly what this website is.
It is a website to encourage you to do your own thing.
Also, to remind you that there are many, many brothers and sisters all
over the world who share your thoughts.
You can help it go a notch higher, too, by sending in suggestions of
important films to see, books to read, and statements by the greats of
all centuries to chew on.
Bring in good food for thought for the family!

For this new year, I ask the Universe to give us its blessing for the
health of www.IMAGINEPEACE.com and, that with all of our efforts, it
will keep on sending much needed good vibes to the whole world.
I would also like to wish us all a joyful 2008.
