[dar-list] Lost and Delirious

Lost and Delirious appears on pay cable stations every once in awhile, and I
tend to watch it all over again every time. Dar would empathize with the
confused state of the two main characters, and even with the powerless new
girl plunked into the situation. (I was sort-of fascinated by Mischa
Barton--especially in the weird comedy earlier in her career called Skipped
Parts--until she sort-of bombed in that now-cancelled Southern CA tv series.)

Dar's songs about teenagers show more insight, of course, than the characters
do in L & D, but it's a good portrayal of teenage angst and its sometimes
tragic results.

Subject: [dar-list] Lost and Delirious

Let me take Paul's suggestion in a somewhat different
direction. I recently discovered, belatedly, the 2001
movie "Lost and Delirious," which I think lots of Dar
fans would like. The director is Lea Pool, a
French-speaking emigrant from Switzerland to Canada.
I've since seen a couple of her other movies,
including "Set Me Free," which I think is also great
stuff. Has anybody seen these movies and want to
discuss them? (L&D has its own fan site, "A Tribute to
Lost and Delirious." Although people sign the guest
book there regularly as they discover the movie, I
sense that the discussions are less active than they
were when it was newer.)
