Dar-listers! Where are you? I have only four people signed up for End of
the Summer Cards, which is, like, nothing. I know you're out there
somewhere (listening).
I shall push back the ending date to Wednesday the 12th.
Most love,
Amy
The original e-mail:
Dar-listers!
Calling all active and lurking alike. It's time for the annual End of the
Summer cards. This marks the ten year anniversary of the album by the same
name, so it's only appropriate that we celebrate in style!
The premise: You send and receive Dar-lister mail. And feel special.
Here's the deal: Should you chose to participate, you will send me your name
and mailing address off-list. I will put these names into groups, and send
the list back to you. You will then send cards to the people in your group
(and, you know, anyone else you love).
The cards: Typically these are homemade, but they can be totally
store-bought. Nothing terribly fancy, just a nice little way to spread some
Dar love.
The only rule: You must, must, must send cards to those people on your list.
Within the states and in other countries as well. No one likes to take the
time to send out cards and receive nothing in return.
Deadline: I need to have everyone's address by Sunday, September 9 (which is
two weeks from now).
So join on in if you're new to this game, if you've ever thought about doing
it, or if you're a regular. We love 'em all.
Best end of the summer wishes,
Amy
