This song is so special to me- especially the line "You'll fly away"...I put my son on a Virgin flight SF-London to go to the University of London for a year a month ago. I have been putting him on planes for years, when he went to The Putney School, and then to college in Boston, but this departure, at 21 years of age it really feels as though this bird has flown the nest.
   
  I find it remarkable that Dar wrote this before she had her child- it is so spot on with the emotions of a parent. This song never fails to bring a tear to my eye...
