Ellen, who hasn't seen Cheryl Wheeler live since she
moved to England. CW doesn't get over this way that
often, even less than Dar. But next up for me is the
Imagined Village tour on Wednesday, with Martin
Carthy, Eliza Carthy, Billy Brag, Chris Woods, Sheila
Chandra, The Copper Family, etc. Talk about folk
classics now! :) (Plus new, young folkies, such as
Tunng and The Gloworms are on the tour. :) One thing I
am looking forward to is the storytelling, as Martin
Carthy excels at that, along with ballad singing and
guitar playing. And with writer Benjamin Zephaniah
joining the tour with his updated 'Tam Lin', there
surely will be storytelling. :)
