We just got home from the Princeton show.
I got a chance to talk with Sharon- she of the parking lots this weekend.
Sharon ran into much traffic to and from the shows this weekend. We also got
to speak with Diane from NJ and Joanne from the DC area. It's always nice
to put a face to a name from the internet.
The opener for this show was Stan Stroman & Friends. Stan is a
multi-talented musician and a supporter of social justice and theology. He
and his friends put on an impressive show. The vocalizations were amazing
and the music was a melding of many genres.
Dar came out and played a bit longer than she did in Wayne- about 1 1/2
hours. she was again her normal engaging and humorous self. The stories
between the songs were in some cases very much the same but some were a bit
different- and there were some songs done tonight that weren't done last
night-
When I Was A Boy
Calling The Moon
O Canada Girls
Empire
She also played
One Who Knows
The Easy Way
The Mercy Of the Fallen
Teen For God
Blue Light Of the Flame
Comfortably Numb ( she noted the story about the night before)
The Babysitters Here
I'm sure I'm forgetting something- hopefully someone else will remember the
ones I left out.
The audience was very appreciative of the show.
Dennis
