Esther and I just got home from the show in Wayne, NJ last night. We stayed
over and then went to Sea Girt, NJ for a NJ Lighthouse society Meeting.
We'll be leaving for the Princeton show in about an hour or so. It was nice
to see and speak with Sharon again.

It was another great show. John Gorka opened the show and did about 65
minutes of his fine music . He was in his usual self deprecating witty and
funny way. He pulled out some older tunes for the crowd. One of the first
tunes he did was "I'm From NJ. " I'd do a set list my I'm terrible at that
type of thing.

Dar came out after a short intermission and started her set with two dream
songs- well one song inspired from a dream awhile back and the other by a
dream the night before the show. The first one was Fishing In The Morning.

The second song choice was from a dream where a fifty foot woman was chasing
Dar . The 50 foot woman had lasers shooting out of her eyes. Dar explained
that this image at first she thought was her Mother and then realized that
it was from a picture drawn by a little boy in one of the classes she has
spoken to. The children drew pictures based on the song The Baby sitter's
Here and most were what one would expect but one boy drew a picture of a 50
ft woman with red eyes and lasers coming out , etc.

The venue, the shea Auditorium of William Paterson University, is having a
group called "The Machine" do a show in the near future. This group is
considered one of the best cover bands of Pink Floyd music. They had
announce the show at the beginning of both sets and Dar said they asked here
to plug the show if she planned on doing Comfortably Numb- so she did. She
also plugged some TV shows during the show- apparently she watched the
Office marathon on Thursday night and mentioned something about Dar's
anatomy at one point in reference to the type of music she plays.

Here's the rest of the tunes I can remember that she did-

Spring Street
Mercy Of the Fallen
The One Who Knows
Teen For god
The Hudson.

She also mentioned that she had done one of her talks at a local school
earlier that day and dedicated one of the songs to the teacher from the
class who was at the show.

Sorry I can't remember all the details- the brain just isn't what it used to
be.

Dennis
