Gary's note about Falcon Ridge kind of spurred me to wonder, why haven't
Dar or many of the upper tier performers been out to the Philadelphia
Folk Festival in a couple years?  It used to be Cry, Cry, Cry and The
Nields were on the bill every year, sometimes even on the same one.

I know the society has had to make changes due to finances-still it is a
bit frustrating that there aren't really any acts that I saw and
immediately thought: "That's someone I've always wanted to see!"   

Are there any other people who come out to Philly and have had the same
reaction?  Anybody have insight about whether they are going to be
successful courting performers in the future?
