[dar-list] wishful thinking

Well...it's not so bad, but this month is so bad. Even the gas money is not
doable this week. It's still $2.70/gallon here in California. We have the
highest gas prices in the country. And of course the trip to New Jersey is way
more expensive, but I already bought my plane ticket (on Spirit....check it
out if you want a good deal and don't mind flying on something that feels more
like a bus than a plane.) So....alas, I can't show my California support for
the beautiful and amazing Dar....but I hope she will find her way back here
before too long. I was going to go to Largo.....and have dinner. And I've
never seen Dar in a dinner venue before....and I know it will be great. The
Hotel Cafe is small and would be fine I guess, but it's a little bit too much
of a social scene for L.A. party people...or at least that was my impression
of it. Perhaps I'm just not a city girl these days. So....that's it. I had to
cancel.
