[dar-list] Grateful Dead Tribute and Dar in California

How was the Grateful Dead tribute show? Was Dar ever a Deadhead? I wasn't, but
many friends were....and the spirit is all good of course.
It is freezing here in California....and Dar is here this upcoming week. And I
don't think I can get down to L.A. and pay for a dinner concert.....and I
can't believe she could be so close, and an intimate sounding show at
that....and I just don't think I can ignore the fact that I'm VERY broke! I
already have plans to fly out to New Jersey in May for my birthday to hear
her. Hmmmmm....if some money drops from the sky I'll drive to L.A. on Tuesday.
Otherwise I may cause too great of a rift in my marriage. Money worries.
Monday night Eliza Gilkyson is performing up the street from me.....and I
missed her last time around, so I have to go on Monday night. .... Now if Dar
would just head north a bit and get to Ventura County....or even Santa Barbara
some time. What do you think?

I just know you will love him like we love Dar. Go if you can. He's off on a
big tour....not back to California until late March.
Is it too late for EOS cards? It's definitely the end of the summer these
days.
