Holy Crap! I am soooo there! Thank God I live 20 miles outside of New York.
Sat. Jan 20th - 8pm - Workingman's Dead - Free!
Sun. Jan. 21rst - 8pm - American Beauty - Free!
Wow! Did you see the "who's who" ? Miss Dar - plus - Yorma! Jim Lauderdale,
Toshi Reagon, Jay Farrar, Larry Campbell, Ollabelle, Andy Statman... and so
on and so on...
Anyone know which night Dar will be there? Both? What song will she play?
What's Dar's favorite Dead song? Was Dar a Deadhead in high school? ( I was - I
doubt Dar was a real Deadhead - but maybe she was sorta on-the-sly ).

Anyway - cool news huh?

Props to Sharon for all her very entertaining posts lately. I always feel
better when I miss a Dar show - but then get to read Sharon's review - and
feel like I was there ( at least a little ).

Also - did you all know Dar is playing Joe's Pub on Saturday, Jan. 20th at
630pm with Sonya Kitchell and "The Ditty Bops" - and - bummer! - it's SOLD OUT.

Is Dar gonna play Joe's Pub and then run across Manhattan and do the gig at
the World Financial Center?
Guess so - busy night. Cool night.

Wow - bet a bunch of you are wishing you lived near New York City and got to
go to cool free stuff like we do.

Good think I'm not rubbing it in huh?

see ya... Bob Paterson

ps - Go to _www.alicepeacock.com_ (http://www.alicepeacock.com) . Very
entertaining - musically and visually. I would marry this woman but - hey - too
late - the story of my whole damn life.
