[dar-list] California!!?!

Dar is coming out to California this month? wow! And here I am all set to
travel to New Jersey in May since I don't want to wait too long to see/hear
her again. I thought it would be a good trip to celebrate my birthday and go
to Dar's concert in Rahway with my mom. What's gotten into her? I will try to
see her in Los Angeles for dinner and music...if I can talk my husband or a
friend into dinner. (A place I don't know on Fairfax.) (I already got a "don't
think so" from my husband....time and money concerns...it's the time of year.)
Too bad it's a school night....but so it goes in the music world. Wow!!
I almost thought she might play at the Hotel Cafe with Brett Dennen....and all

But, no, he is there earlier in the month....and she is there later in the
month....and we're not quite hip enough for the venue...or so it felt the only
time we went. So it can be in Hollywood....however when Dar was at the El Rey
I thoroughly enjoyed L.A......so I shouldn't judge so much. Perhaps it was the
particular night....and there were many people hanging around to drink and be
seen and talk! when we went to a show...plus we were the oldest people by
far....and who cares usually, and I went to the El Rey with my young adult
daughter, but anyway I will stop the ramble here.
