Despite the remains of a nasty cold (which Dar playfully) said might be part
of a conspiracy to keep liberals sick, Dar gave a great performance to end
2006. Even with some crud (or maybe because of it), her voice was really
strong.

Dar played (I hope I have the order correct):

Teen For God (the prequel to Christians and the Pagans)
Babysitter
Fishing in the Morning
Are You Out There (played earlier in the day for WRSI)
Beauty of the Rain
Empire
Calling the Moon
The One Who Knows (dedicated to Jordi and his wife, on the birth of their
son).
City of New Orleans (With Kris Delmhorst, who opened)
The Hudson (Dar's attempt for an epic like CONO)
After All
Mercy of The Fallen
You're Aging Well
Christians and Pagans (long version of the usual story, very funny)

encores

Ba Ba Black Sheep (with Stephen Robinson!)
Twinkle Twinkle Little Star (with Stephen)

February
When I was a boy

Quite a few stories. Dar mentioned meeting the babysitter when she (Dar) was
22 in Germany, while both were doing laundry. She played Empire in part to
help Patty sell more of the T-shirts; said that she had been thinking about
history and parallels between past and present when she wrote it. Dar saw
Calling the Moon as the flip side to Empire.

Stephen was absolutely adorable, Dar said that she thinks that she has a
future as either his accountant or his back-up singer.
