[dar-list] Philly Folk Fest 2007

I just wanted to say thank you to Lee and Charlie for coming around to
visit during the Philly Folk Fest last week.  It was a great time and
meeting fellow Dar Williams fans always makes it even a better one.  

(Sorry for being under the weather when you visited again, Charlie...)

Though everybody has their opinions about who turned in great
performances, I went in hoping to see something special from Liz Longley
(a local performer on the rise) and she did not disappoint. Word from
people sitting close was she had a bit of nerves, but she rose above
them nicely.

Jess Klein was awesome, as was the Carolina Chocolate Drops.

Here's hoping that Dar return to the stages at Old Poole Farm in the
next few years.  I could go for a triple bill of her, Joan Baez, and The
Nields Sisters.  Well, as long as I'm dreaming, throw in Suzanne Vega
too!
