[dar-list] In Praise of Patty and Bulletproof

In these days of poor customer service, particularly
from huge corporations, it's nice to be able to
applaud the smaller, independent stores.

It was on 1 August that Patty mentioned that 'Sister
Holler', the new Nerissa and Katryna Nields CD was
available at the Bulletproof store. I'd just been paid
the previous day, so I placed an order.

Today is the 7th of August -- only six days later, and
the CD arrived in the post!!

Okay, so the USPS and Royal Mail helped out; it only
took five days for the package to wing its way across
the pond to me. But it was postmarked the second of
August.

Talk about good service! :)

Ellen in England, who started on this list as Ellen in
Colorado, but as of Thursday, I'll have been in
England for eight years.

PS Have the Nields made it across the pond to Europe?
Have they come this way, and I've missed them? (I have
seen them in the US.)
