Yay Sander! Thanks for posting the lyrics..they came a little  jumbled on 
this end..but I have the audio file so I remember them anyhow...lemme  try to see 
if this makes the post any easier to read?

I am so happy that Dar is writing again to begin with, I miss new  songs. It 
feels like MBS has been out for so long now, 2 years in September?  Anyway, 
when I first heard this song it was in September of 2006, and was  called "I 
Never Took". It was much different, even the chorus was slightly  altered. When I 
heard it then, I wasn't thrilled..I thought it was too short,  and dare I, 
whiny. BUT, all that changed with this new version. Its twice as  long and I 
think she really went somewhere with it. I guess the theme is pretty  easy, the 
"take it a little easy on me now" part. And no matter who denies it,  we all 
feel that way sometimes. The 'life isnt fair' mentality. I listen to this  song 
whenever I get frustrated or stressed and it really calms me down. Nice  song 
from Dar, and so glad she is keeping it in rotation...dont want it to be  the 
next "The Boats That Brought Us Here". 
 
I love the house of cards verse, but my favorite lyric is perhaps  the 
epitome of simplicity but its so perfect.."when you're hard just to be hard  the 
only thing that's hard is you"..love it.
