Hello Darlings

Dar's 40th birthday is coming up and this year the annual birthday 
project seems to have fallen through the cracks. However, Dar told me 
the other day that for her birthday this year (if you choose to do 
something) please plant a tree or make an effort to buy local food that 
hasn't had to travel thousands of miles to reach your table. I live in 
an apartment so instead of planting a tree, I'll plant some more herbs 
for my garden that will go to cooking along with the local food that we 
get specially delivered every week (see hungeroverthirst.blogspot.com 
if you want to read all about our culinary adventures!). I'd be happy 
to send Dar a note if people takes pics of their planting or want to 
let her know what you've done for her birthday. Just email it to me at
