okay... this has to be kinda quick... i have to get ready for last Dar
show for the month of september.. I have pretty much seen Dar every
weekend almost in september and as she is going off to Holland... and
i am NOT... it kinda feels like i should make her a big card... and
that she is leaving me for college next year..... Not really but i
dont get to quote the BABYSITTER too often...
Yesterday, i headed up to Ridgefield, up the Hutch, past the homes
that have Farm names and Iron Gates that reminded me of Newport
mansions... followed these long and winding roads where the leaves
were starting to change.. Kinda like trying to get to the Keswick only
worse... follow route 35 to the fountain, make a left to Main
Street...i parked to walk over to the 5 mile park created by Frederick
Olmstead of central park and prospect park fame but i never got
there.. I got side tracked by Chico's and a great lady named Andi who
originally was from Brooklyn.... she didnt fit in with the Grey haired
women who were spending way way way more than my 32.00 sweater.. Andi
took my bulky oversized sweater off me, put on a size 2 and pulled the
tags and sent me out wearing my new sweater.. I walked on past the
Ballet Conservatory and studio A&B, watching the girls training in
tutus and the their counterparts in goth attire hanging out at CVS...
i had to get to the show...
i got to this 500 seat theater that is part of the school.. There was
peewee football and HS football practice all going on as i unloaded
the car....
Kevin Broidy opened for Dar and says HI To susan moss.... the famous
susan moss..
Dar, in a new dress,... I didnt take in my camera this time, a great new dress
started with the
babysitter... it was a new crowd with new laughs

Dar was at her best last night... the crowd was a mix of knowing her
and new fans...and she was telling all sorts of stories. some revived,
some new tales... about her growing up...
She didnt mention her mom or dad... just life in Chappaqua before the
clinton's moved in...
Dar was adored last night....
i left her at the theater and headed down the Hutch where i found ONE
lane open on the Whitestone... i lost time there and with construction
on the BQE..... i went to bed at 230 and got up at 530 to be a
Professor.... Darn am i tired..
but Then again, no one is as cool as i am
