Kempton is actually down the road from Bethlehem, only their website
directions dont know that. I followed the directions til i realized
they were From Kempton to NYC not from NYC to Kempton.... that was
after i went out of my way for about 20 minutes..
i got off the highway and entered Farm land of PA... there were no
farm stands, just a small town with a railroad.
i got to the farm where i parked and found a number of tents where
workshops were being held. I went into the barn and there were vendors
all prompting energy alternative applications to farming. THere was a
booth by the County Democrats and green cleaning products. The
festival was giving away TWO Hybrid Vehicles so i bought some tickets
and didnt win....

i sat and listened to a singer from the area who sounded like Susan
Werner but she didnt play like her.. her band was acordian, bass and
electric guitar added layers
then i Heard a lecture on the history of community and how energy
saving can only occur through cities and towns communities. If we live
closer we can walk. This speaker illustrated the adding of trees to
decrease the need for air conditionings and how far ahead the
europeans are with green space and use of trees in parking lots, and
bike paths.

this was a fairly new dar crowd with a few hard core fans....
