[dar-list] Dar show from Vin Scelsa to be rebroadcast...

I was wondering around the WFUV website... took a look at their "bulletin  
board" - and found a posting from Vin Scelsa ( NYC dj legend - friend of Dar -  
currently the guy they have do a show on Saturday nights after Pete Fornatel 
).  Anyway... Vin says he's gonna start doing "re-runs" durning the second half 
of  his Saturday night shows for a bit.
 
And... then I read this:

I've been doing radio in  New York since 1967. I've got tons of tapes of 
guest appearances through all  those years. I've long wanted to dig into the 
boxes, see what's actually there  and resurrect those moments from the show's 
history that deserve a second  hearing. (And a place in the WFUV audio archives 
where they can exist dust- and  mildew-free!) On a personal level the time is 
right for me to finally go ahead  and give this a try. It's an experiment; let's 
see if it works.
 
This week all four hours  will be archival material. Also on 9/23 when the 
segments will be: 
Allen Ginsberg (1996)
Dar  Williams (with full band) (2000)
Golden Smog & Rosanne Cash - separate  but overlapping appearances on the 
same night (1996)  
After that I'll start doing  the two 2-hour shows - 2 hours new, 2 hours from 
the archives.

The show streams over the web. You all should be able to hear this. Dar with  
full band. Cool.
