Dar is back in the US and in great voice. She said she was struggling
with a cold but i think she struggles with a kid in Day Care ( i think
she will have that cold or the germs until she sends Stephen off to
college)

Sloan Wainwright opened for her. Sloan with her deep contralto voice,
personal songs and interesting covers... including Ring Of FIre....

Sloan is a westchester county girl, Dar is a Westchester county Girl,
the venue was in Westchester County..... Get it...

Dar came on stage in her newish dress and black boots to a sold out
crowd... hey i think i saw some celebrities in the crowd....My friend
Nancy who missed the first 4 songs, Susan Schwimmer from Sarah
Lawrence and Clearwater,  Friends of Patty Romanoff, and Oh...Mr and
Mrs Williams... the Williams looked great. Mr Williams told me Mrs
Williams had the New Pix of Stephen but i didnt ask her for  them (
maybe that will get her booted from the grandmother club for not
whipping them out and showing them to me...)

Oh, back to Dar

she told some new stories about therapy and her dreams of water....and
water as a theme in her music...

when i was a boy
we learned the sea

it was a great show... the sound system was great and it took me less
then an hour to get home !!! Yippee

after a day of getting up to teach my class, teaching, driving upstate
to peep leaves, and then tour the FDR museum and library and tour the
Hudson while i drove down route 9...more leave peeping and more
viewing the Hudson.... then Dar... Boy was i tired...
Dar's voice always me feel full....but i was still sleepy.....
