The show last night was just great- as expected.

The opener - Erich Hutchinson- was somebody we had seen open for Al Stewart
there last year. He put on a short but sassy set. He worked the room very
well- had them laughing between each song for one reason or another. He
sounds a bit like Ray LaMontagne to me. He did 7 songs and took his leave.

I got to talk to Sharon for a few minutes between the sets- she got busy and
the lobby of the Sellersville theatre is very, very small and they often
have 3 intertwining lines- merchandise, refreshments and box office. Sorry
we did not stop by at the end of the show- by the time we got to the lobby
entrance from the theatre it was so backed up we skipped out a side door.

Dar came on at about 9 PM and spent the next 1 1/2 hours delighting the
crowd with her songs and the informative- and quite often humorous- between
song banter. I'm terrible at remembering the entire set list but here's the
one's I'm sure of in no particular order-

The Babysitter's Here
Iowa
February
As Cool As I Am
If I Wrote You
When I Was A Boy (in the encore)
The Christians & The Pagans (last song in the set)
Teen For God
The One Who Knows
The Hudson- she says she's starting to play this outside of NY because
everybody has their own Hudson

She dedicated a song to Rachel Bissex and had some very nice things to say
about here and all Vermonters introducing the song.

I always get a kick out of the way she vocalizes some of the words in songs
like The Babysitter's Here- as do many others in the audience. It always
seems to get a laugh.

It was a great way to see Dar for the last time in 2006 for us.

Dennis
