[dar-list] Cold Spring on 12/7 a missing post

well i arrived at Cold Spring to find the High School which is located
off Main Street in this little  Putnam County Town ( near where they
ended the Amazing Race last night)

the line up was Motherlode... three singing moms who covered Mindy
Smith, and sang an original song about being a Bad Mom and a
traditional song...

Then Dar.... The Babysitter,  The Hudson,  Mercy of the Fallen, The
One Who Knows and IF I wrote you with the Backing Sounds of Gandolf
Murphy and the Slambovian Circus.
then the Circus finished the set with  Her Own World and the Yodel Song...
Dar joined them for Jump Rope and Sullivan Lane ( which always reminds
me of Spring Street- okay, just in the next neighborhood)
Dar then did Christian and Pagans with the Circus and then Have
Yourself a Merry Little Christmas with the Circus and Dar sharing
Vocals and verses and ending with The Circus Signature song with
Gloria/Glory in the middle...
There were singing alongs, dance alongs, and all sorts of good cheer..
There were moms and dads and Grandparents and Grandkids and Kids of
all sorts.. THere were circus kids and a certain almost 2 year old
rocker boy who can dance with the rest of them... and then there was
Mr and Mrs Williams.....

its was a great night ... it was great to see Dar Rocking out in her
brown dress and boots.. She held her own right the Circus and became a
member... Josiah, Tink, Sharkey, Tony, for a night of Holiday music..
in a way that only Dar runs off to the circus could do....

this was a benefit for supplement programs to the school program and
it was a great success...
